My Great Indian Dream

Brothers and Sisters,

Our mission towards building a strong nation was initiated by Nationalist leaders and freedom fighters who have succeeded in freeing us from external dominance. Now its been 75 years since Independence and India which has been dreamed of by our forefathers is still a Work-in-Progress. There is a concept of the Great American Dream in the U.S.A. My Great Indian dream is something inspired by it but aspired towards a better place for the next generations. I am insisting on collective responsibility rather than blaming anyone here. I envisage the opportunities untapped rather than listing my complaints.

On this day, we emancipate ourselves from the unnecessary burdens of Casteism, Parochialism, and Non-toleration, disown our vulnerability, and not allowing our politicians to take advantage of it. We need to set our motto straight " Together we rise". Hundreds of hurdles such as Environmental concerns, Political and social concerns, economic backwardness. I strongly believe that no country is perfect and ideal. It is those members of the country who strive hard to make it.

Our responsibility doesn't begin or end at elections. They are just part of the hard-earned democratic values. It is the public participation and initiative that makes democracy a complete one. We need a paradigm shift from " Sit back and relax" attitude to "Step up and lead" approach.  When all Indians refuse to settle for average, I hope India herself rises above the average.

My vision for India is of utmost significance, standing tall on the global platform and international forums inspiring other developing countries on their path to equitable development. Able to preach her formula for Human development, provide for dialogue, and resolve issues between nations, showcase itself along with her soft-power, a piece of earth dedicated for earthlings.  When everybody takes care of someone nearer, we don't want to rely on a central authority to provide for. Believe me, India is strong and we made the impossible, possible once and we can make it again too. We need all our hands on deck, and our visions need to synchronize towards a coordinated mission, and in the process we all are nation-builders. Let India rise and shine on the global stage. Jai Hind!

SALARY FOR HOUSEWIVES?!...

The topic become talk of the day after MNM leader Dr. Kamal Haasan (Chiku buku chiku buku big boss- just joking), announced that the party would recognize homemakers as salaried professional and would pay wages for their work at home. It is not something new to us. This was the demand of women’s movement for years. The Third National Women's Liberation conference, in England in 1972, for the first time explicitly demanded payment of wages for the household work and since four decades have passed. Before going still further I would like to make clear that the views expressed are personal. WHAT? To start simply, what are the domestic work our moms do in a day ? She starts her day early in the morning, cooks breakfast and lunch (In my home both are same unfortunately😂), washes your clothes, irons it, washes all the utensils, keeps the home clean and more than anything else, never ever failed to shower love upon us  despite all her works. Eurekavillage personally want to appreciat...
