MIND less

A fable of an aspirant-
I am just sitting in a capsule,
which occupies 1/50th of the space of an air conditioned hall.
But I know I do not belong here.
A man who is looking for constant movement
of his body and wandering mind, yet
caged in a cell to read, revise, repeat.

A mind yearning for new books, documentaries,
movies, friends and people left to be stuck in a rut of this exam.
A man who favors flexibility of time for work in a day,
pressed by the palms of the demands of the exam
to feel guilty for his even small, insignificant mistakes.

Yet, he knows that this was chosen by him...A path feared to be dreaded by many...A destination reached by few... A process giving an edge to seniors and repeaters... Still he will give his best, which he knows is not his BEST, but still tries to show people that he gave his best... to make his beloved souls happy for him!

My Great Indian Dream

Brothers and Sisters, Our mission towards building a strong nation was initiated by Nationalist leaders and freedom fighters who have succeeded in freeing us from external dominance. Now its been 75 years since Independence and India which has been dreamed of by our forefathers is still a Work-in-Progress. There is a concept of the Great American Dream in the U.S.A. My Great Indian dream is something inspired by it but aspired towards a better place for the next generations. I am insisting on collective responsibility rather than blaming anyone here. I envisage the opportunities untapped rather than listing my complaints.  On this day, we emancipate ourselves from the unnecessary burdens of Casteism, Parochialism, and Non-toleration, disown our vulnerability, and not allowing our politicians to take advantage of it. We need to set our motto straight " Together we rise". Hundreds of hurdles such as Environmental concerns, Political and social concerns, economic backwardness....

SALARY FOR HOUSEWIVES?!...

The topic become talk of the day after MNM leader Dr. Kamal Haasan (Chiku buku chiku buku big boss- just joking), announced that the party would recognize homemakers as salaried professional and would pay wages for their work at home. It is not something new to us. This was the demand of women’s movement for years. The Third National Women's Liberation conference, in England in 1972, for the first time explicitly demanded payment of wages for the household work and since four decades have passed. Before going still further I would like to make clear that the views expressed are personal. WHAT? To start simply, what are the domestic work our moms do in a day ? She starts her day early in the morning, cooks breakfast and lunch (In my home both are same unfortunately😂), washes your clothes, irons it, washes all the utensils, keeps the home clean and more than anything else, never ever failed to shower love upon us  despite all her works. Eurekavillage personally want to appreciat...

A letter to the soul.

My Dear Self, "All those time I saw in the mirror, I only saw my mere reflection, failed to feel the friend nearer, how cold, I didn't give him attention." Where shall I start? The times that I spent with you? the moments of emotions I shared? all those years I have fooled myself by taking you for granted? I have apologies which I never tried telling you.  I always looked up to distractions. When I feel insane I sought a friend's advice rather than yours. I have ignored you many times. I scrolled through my mobile, watched TV, went out not because I wanted to but to escape feeling my feelings.  Everyone tells spending time with you is ill. And I am not an exception to it and I don't want to justify my mistake. But I realized the truth now. I apprehended the power of spending "me" time. You know what people tell, "A moment of silence can teach you more than an endless lecture."  Few minutes of solitary, a world away from the world. With you, t...
