SPECIAL REVIEW ON EARTHLINGS
In post writing, many would be general or the motive would be to entertain the readers. But very few posts would be from the writer's heart. They are unconditional, not written to impress the readers but to express feelings. Count this post as one.
In a typical Sunday Morning when you enter Meat stalls (if you are a non-vegetarian)
- your eyes would see the neatly hanging animal fleshes from which the butcher chops,
- your brain would visualise the spicy food that your mom gonna prepare that afternoon.
Refusing the fact that those animals were alive few hours before and has sacrificed its life. Remember not for any country's freedom or not serving any death sentence, but just to land on your plate.
Earthlings is a 2005 American documentary film revealing "behind the scenes" from Slaughter houses, animal circuses and in scientific laboratories.
Earthlings was taken way back in 2005 and since few have changed. There was a surge at animal protection and welfare NGOs at international level after 2000s. There was an increase in consciousness to protect animals. So some of the incidents depicted in the film may not be the case today. But still the the film is useful and becomes relevant in many cases.
The duration of the documentary is 1hr 35mins and was narrated by Oscar winner, Actor, animal rights activist and also the PETA's person of the year 2019 : Mr.Joaquin Phoenix. Earthling was created using hidden cameras in animal circuses and slaughterhouses and took 6 years for its making.

Suddenly from where does the Terrorist comes here in Earthlings?
On 21st of July 2020, a bus in Ukraine was hijacked by Maksim Krivosh claiming that he had Bomb and explosives. After several hours of hostage Maksim Krivosh demanded the Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky to endorse the 2005 American documentary film "Earthling" directed by Shaun Monson.
Zelensky in returm asked Krivosh to release three out of 16 hostages before fulfilling the condition. Krivosh released one pregnant lady, a child and an elderly woman. The president then recorded a video asking the public to watch the Earthling. Then Krivosh released all hostages and he himself came forward to surrender. No one was hurt. Krivosh also showed the documentary to all the passengers.

We as humans with six senses has an advantageous position on earth, which comes with Responsibility to help other species. This earth is not only for humans but also for millions of earthling that holds the right to share earth as much as we do!
The worst situation is that the animals are brutally tortured and beaten to death as if they deserve it. Usage of abusive languages on animals was even worse. One moment of relief in the entire documentary was when a circus elephant - a victim of cruelty, out of anger smashes everybody and everything on its way. But it was later shot to death. We as humans do not bother on the feelings of those animals, we find it entertaining when they are hunted. We forget the fact that they too have family attachments, a sense of privacy and community feelings which are to be respected.
A one essential film describing human's perspective of 'animals as objects of economic benefit'. Earthlings was awarded "Best documentary feature" in Artivist film festival. The documentary is a moving one, giving the viewers a tremor.
CONCLUSION :
Already human activities have endangered hundreds of wildlife and still we haven't realise the fact that we humans cannot survive without them. We cannot allow these innocent earthlings to be the victims of our own greed and selfishness. We got to be respectful in treating them. Being humane is what expected from human beings because we all are earthlings and we all share this earth.
